Senator Wyland Scores “A” Grade On Supporting California Families

Senator Mark Wyland (R-Solana Beach) earned a nearly perfect voting record in support of California families. Capitol Resource Family Impact, the state's leading pro-family public policy organization, ranked Wyland at 90 percent.

"Nothing I do is more important than working for California families," said Senator Mark Wyland. "I am honored to receive such recognition in my support for my work."

The Capitol Resource Institute works at the state level to research legislation that affects California families. They have a consistent presence in the Capitol and give California families a voice in the legislature.

"I strongly support traditional marriage and Proposition 22, and have always defended traditional family values in California. I will continue to protect and advocate for families in my work in Sacramento," said Senator Mark Wyland.

Senator Mark Wyland represents the people of the 38th Senate District, which includes the north San Diego County cities and communities of Oceanside, San Marcos, Vista, Escondido, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Fairbanks Ranch, Lake San Marcos, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Bonsall, Camp Pendleton, and Vista. He also represents the south Orange County cities of San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano.
